With a 200-year history ceramic products manufacturing, Wade works with various brands such as Royal Salute, Johnnie Walker, Bells, Burberry and Agent Provocateur.
In designing the logo, Armstrong developed a strong and clean monogram mark, incorporating the W and C of Wade Ceramics. The mark is infilled with cobalt blue, replacing red as the main brand colour – cobalt blue being one of the first base colours used in ceramic glazes. Sited under the mark is the tagline ‘Decorated in History’ – a statement highlighting the company’s provenance.
Commenting on the refresh, Paul Farmer OBE, chief executive, said: “With their significant expertise in the alcoholic drinks sector, Armstrong has pulled out all the stops and created a look and feel for Wade that we are entirely delighted with. The feedback we’ve received from our customers, both here and abroad, has been overwhelmingly positive.”
