Commissioned by Tesco for the fourth consecutive year, parent company Premier Foods chose metal for its first-rate qualities, not only to distinguish the Bisto container on crowded retail shelves, but also to encourage customers to interact with – and ultimately purchase – the product.
Crown said the vibrant, bright red tin utilises the latest advancements in varnishing and high quality inks to bring rich elements of design to life, making the tin highly recognisable.
A matte finish is applied to the entire package which creates a silky smooth feel – improving the consumer’s physical interaction with the product.
The world-famous ‘aah! Bisto’ slogan – boldly emblazoned – give the tins a retro yet modern appearance.
