Event: Smart Machines for the Future: 4th May 2017
After the success of PPC&A's Smart Machines for the Future seminar, B&R is pleased to be invited to feature alongside other industry leaders for the next event on 4th May. B&R has been at the forefront of the Industry 4.0/Smart Factory movement and will discuss the strategies and opportunities that this provides machine manufacturers.
The company will also discuss how it has been applying these techniques in its own manufacturing site in Austria for the last 20 years. it will showcase its new Orange Box concept which allows existing machines to be upgraded to provide the benefits of interconnectivity without interruption.
With product customisation increasing across all industries in recent years, consumers have grown to expect nearly every individual wish to be met – all the way down to batch size 1. This trend directly impacts the machines used to manufacture these products. We will also be highlighting the importance of Scalability+, and how machine builders can substantially reduce the amount of engineering work involved.
Enjoy a day of exciting talks which focus on the cutting edge of manufacturing processes including; Industry 4.0, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Robotics, Virtual Reality and more!
