AS-Schneider has developed a high-pressure valve series which is applicable for use under pressures up to 1,034 bar.
The valves, which are designed for use in measurement and control applications, can be provided with different functionalities to meet different requirements.
They can be used in chemical and petrochemical plants or the oil and gas industry where pressures of several hundred bar are frequently found, and where the media can be aggressive and harmful to humans and the environment.
AS-Schneider supplies the valves in stainless steel 316 in its standard model which makes them suitable for use with sour gas, according to NACE MR0175/MR0103 and ISO 15156. Other materials are also available for special requirements. Customers can also choose between valves with NPT threads and connections for cone fittings. The latter have the advantage that they can be easily mounted and dismounted many times.
A high-strength stem thread with hard coating ensures safe and wear-free operation. The T-handle in ergonomic design is positively locked to the stem by a square and positioned by a set screw. The non-rotating tip allows smooth operation and minimum wear of sealing elements. A thrust bearing at the connection between the stem and tip absorbs highest stem forces. The valve head unit (bonnet) is equipped with a locking plate which prevents the unauthorised removal of the bonnet.>
