Although the name change implies no immediate changes in the segment’s product range or manufacturing technology, Huhtamaki said it is a better fit for the future.
“We see many exciting business opportunities with new renewable raw materials and new products”, commented Petr Domin, executive vice president, Fiber Packaging.
“The new name, focusing on new solutions rather than production technology, helps us drive a commercial focus and also better reflects the different types of products we will offer our customers in the future.”
The new name is taken into use as of 27 April, 2017.
