The building will be completely refurbished, and will see the eventual relocation of Kite’s Harlow-based team into the new premises.
Kite Packaging, one of the UK’s leading distributors of packaging, has seven sites located across the country. The new Letchworth property, which was previously occupied by the 600 Group, is significantly bigger than the current Harlow branch and is an investment by the company in its continued drive to provide a first class service to its expanding customer base.
The new 8840sqm facility on a two-acre plot consists of a warehouse, ground floor offices, first floor offices and large parking facilities. A two month building and refurbishment project on the newly acquired property has already begun.
The newest Kite Packaging building is in a prominent position within an established estate, located in Letchworth Garden City – Kite said the location is ideal in servicing its North London based customers, right up to Cambridgeshire.
