This new category for the UK Packaging Awards 2016 is open exclusively to packaging development teams at brands and retailers and is designed to reward the team that has shown consistent innovation and quality in the packaging that they specify during the year.
Judges will be looking in particular for consistently strong and, where appropriate, innovative and original structural and graphic design; intelligent choices around materials, be that based on cost, sustainability credentials or manufacturability; and a collaborative approach to suppliers as well as other stakeholders within their own businesses such as marketing, procurement, logistics, manufacturing and so on.
There’s just a week until the deadline for the UK Packaging Awards 2016. If it’s looking like you may narrowly miss the 10 June deadline, then Natalie Packham is on hand to help with any queries. Contact her on email@example.com or call 020 8253 8702.
This year’s awards will be judged by a stellar line-up of judges from a wide range of big name brands and retailers including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Mars, Marks & Spencer, Weetabix and Waitrose, Müller, Nestlé and Bacardi.
The UK Packaging Awards 2016 will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony on Wednesday 27 October 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. The event has grown enormously in recent years and now attracts more than 750 people from across the packaging supply chain.
