Optimation’s MCF provides experimental and analytical web handling facilities, equipment and development engineering support, custom machine capability and training for manufacturers of products produced on a continuous web (roll-to-roll).
“It is an honor for Optimation’s MCF to win a Digital Rochester GREAT Award,” said Peter Sherer, Senior Program Manager and Engineering Manager at Optimation.
“We are of course thrilled with the recognition that our pilot lab and development engineering personnel have received as a result of this prestigious vote. Our MCF business serves to advance the manufacturing method known as ‘roll-to-roll’ into more digital domains. Producing digital products continuously on a web (either coated or assembled) drives down costs and will help keep our local companies competitive in the worldwide marketplace.”
Finalists for the Technology Services category included CloudSmartz Inc. and The Rochester Group.
