Packaging is a hotbed of emerging talent, be it in manufacturing, technology, design or any of the other areas that form the packaging supply chain. This award celebrates the huge contribution made by a newcomer to the industry.
It will recognise individuals in the first five years of their professional lives who, whatever they do, are making a real difference to the company they work for. Businesses are invited to nominate people within their own company or in companies they deal with and must explain, in a 500 word submission, how that person is making a difference and why they are worthy of the award. This should include details of the nominees’ successes in their career to date, how they have made an impact and highlight their outstanding achievements.
There’s just a week until the deadline for the UK Packaging Awards 2016. If it’s looking like you may narrowly miss the 10 June deadline, then Natalie Packham is on hand to help with any queries. Contact her on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 8253 8702.
This year’s awards will be judged by a stellar line-up of judges from a wide range of big name brands and retailers including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Mars, Marks & Spencer, Weetabix and Waitrose, Müller, Nestlé and Bacardi.
The UK Packaging Awards 2016 will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony on Wednesday 27 October 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. The event has grown enormously in recent years and now attracts more than 750 people from across the packaging supply chain.
