Available in conjunction with Vetroplas’ Italian partner Eurovetrocap, BeautiLock is one of the slimmest airtight compact profile on the market (with comparable product bulk) and the mirror can be positioned under the compact avoiding fog due to its proximity to highly moist product.
It is designed for a range of products including gel liners, crème shadows, lipsticks, colour illuminators, concealers and crème foundations – providing significant potential for new product innovation which may have previously been hampered by packaging constraints.
The compacts come in three sizes along with pallets with removable compacts and a full line of jars –all conducive to embossing or debossing, according to Vetroplas.
Simon Dix, sales director of Vetroplas, said: “While water-based and solvent-based formulations currently available in airtight packaging may still lose their characteristics during usage, even when still on shelf, this new valve seal technology which twists and locks the cap in place, reduces drying out and weight loss.
