The team of four – Ian Peterson, Matt Hogg, Ian Lyons and John Gowen – saw off competition from a raft of competitors at Bletchingley Golf Club, last month. Easyfairs were runners-up with hubergroup’s team finishing third.
There were other competitions run over the day. The ‘nearest the line on the ninth hole’ prize went to the Foodservice Packaging Association’s Graham Foster. Chris Baker from Neville & More won the ‘closest to the pin on the 14th hole’ competition.
Winning the ‘closest to the pin on the 17th hole’ competition was Matt Hogg from Wallace Hind. Mark Waldron from ESP Group scooped the prize for ‘longest drive on the fourth hole’.
This year’s Packaging News Golf day was sponsored by Flint, hubergroup and Easyfairs.
