The company’s flagship product has a 37 year history and is made in the UK at a mill in Cumbria. The newly designed collection is presented in a new sample card.
According to Winter & Company, the refreshed Wibalin Premium includes new “on-trend” colours for the packaging and publishing markets. It also has a new graphic board in stock to cater for demand from printers and box makers for high strength and dyed-through characteristics.
Winter & Company said that the new weight blends allow manufacturers to create a pack using 115gsm for the covering and a new 320gsm for internal fitments.
In addition, the range can be printed both offset and digitally. The company now has 500 Wibalin products in stock.
The range is FSC certified and produced in accordance with ISO 14001 systems. Winter & Company added that it’s 100% recyclable and fully REACH compliant.
In 2012, Winter & Company installed solar panels which quantifies half of its electrical needs. Its Huntingdon site also uses efficient lighting.
The company recycles 87% of its own waste and has installed a Vickers energy management system for efficient use of gas.
